AC Shadows Reveals Surprising AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a bizarre crossover event that defies usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the authorized release, "An unusual meeting leads characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited practices and fearsome metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.
The questline concentrates on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Places and Changes
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an unique katana in addition to numerous artifacts hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
